SACHI and the Society for Asian Art at the Asian Art Museum, San Francisco, are pleased to present an illuminating talk on Yoga and the Bhagavad Gita, a 700-verse scripture that is part of the Hindu epic, The Mahabharata.

Vedanta scholar Prasad Vepa will present the Not-so-Hidden Secrets of Yoga in the Bhagavad Gita. This program is presented to conincide with the Asian Art Museum exhibition, Yoga: The Art of Transformation. Limited seating, rsvp to jim@societyforasianart.org.

SACHI and the Asian Art Museum, San Francisco are honored to present Dr. Madhuvanti Ghose, the Art Institute of Chicago Alsdorf Associate Curator of Indian, Southeast Asian, Himalayan and Islamic Art in a presentation of Public Notice 3: From Vivekananda to Kallat. Program will begin with Dance into the Light: An Invocation for Peace, yoga inspired Bharatanatyam Dance by Vidhya Subramanian, followed by Public Notice 3: From Vivekananda to Kallat, a lecture presentation by Dr. Madhuvanti Ghose, followed by audience Q&A and a public reception.

The event is free after museum admission. This program is presented to conincide with the Asian Art Museum exhibition, Yoga: The Art of Transformation.
